System requirements
Nivra runs entirely on your device. A dedicated GPU is optional, but hardware acceleration is strongly recommended for faster document processing and larger workloads.
Windows (x86_64)
| Specification | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 (1803+) | Windows 11 |
| CPU | Quad-core x64 | Modern 6–8 core (Ryzen 5/7, Core i5/i7) |
| RAM | 8 GB | 16 GB+ |
| GPU | Not required (CPU processing) | NVIDIA RTX 3060 or better |
| VRAM | — | 6 GB+ |
| Disk free | 4 GB | 6–8 GB (SSD preferred) |
macOS (Apple Silicon)
| Specification | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | macOS 11 Big Sur | macOS 13+ |
| Chip | Apple M1 (Intel unsupported) | Apple M2 / M3 / M4 or newer |
| Memory | 8 GB unified | 16 GB+ unified |
| Acceleration | CPU processing | Hardware acceleration on supported devices |
| Disk free | 4 GB | 6–8 GB (SSD preferred) |
Performance note: Nivra supports CPU-based processing on compatible devices, with GPU acceleration available on supported hardware. Processing speed depends on document size, file type, selected detection settings, and available system resources. For large document collections, scanned files, and batch processing, we recommend using a GPU-accelerated system with at least 16 GB of RAM.
